PLEASE READ MY TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE WORKING WITH ME

As we begin our professional relationship, I wanted to remind you to please review my terms and conditions before we begin working together. These terms outline the expectations and responsibilities for both parties during our time working together, and it is important that you familiarise yourself with them. By proceeding with our work, you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to these terms.

  1. Scope of Work: The scope of work (SOW) outlines the specific tasks that will be completed as part of this project. Any tasks outside of the SOW will be considered outside of the scope of work and will be subject to additional fees.

  2. Fees and Payment: The fee for the project will be stated upon contact, payment is taken prior to design with I will invoice you for, please note all payments are non refundable. For larger orders the payment can be broken down into two payments, one prior to design and the final payment on completion. Payment is due according to the payment schedule outlined in the SOW. Any delays in payment may result in delays in the project timeline.

  3. Intellectual Property: The client retains ownership of any intellectual property provided to the designer, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, and copyrighted materials. Becca May Designs retains ownership of any concepts or designs created during the course of the project.

  4. Confidentiality: Becca May Designs agrees to keep all information regarding the project and the client confidential. Upon completion Becca May Designs may post your work on their business pages ( Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) unless not requested to do so by the client.

  5. Termination: Either party may terminate the project at any time with written notice. In the event of termination, Becca May Designs will be compensated for any work completed up to the point of termination. Please note if the client fails to respond to their designs within 2 weeks of Becca May Designs sending their sample, their account will be closed and designs will be sold on.

  6. Changes to Terms: These terms and conditions may be amended by the designer at any time. The client will be notified of any changes.

  7. Design information: Please make sure any information such as price list prices are given to me correct at the start of design, any changes will be charged as an edit fee. Please provide Becca May Designs with as much information possible for your design ideas, lack of direction will make the design process longer.

  8. Changes to design: Once the final designs are sent over there is a 24-hour window any changes can be made, any edits after are charged as an editing fee. After 24 hours the only changes that can be made are wording and colour changes.

  9. Time frame: Stated time frame is working weekdays only, Becca May Designs does not work weekends, bank holidays or public holidays.

In Short:  We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when ordering design or print services or otherwise contacting us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect can include the following:

Publicly Available Personal Information. We collect first name, maiden name, last name, and nickname; email addresses; business email; business phone number; social media; and other similar data.

In Short:  We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfilment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.

We use personal information collected via our Services for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations. We indicate the specific processing grounds we rely on next to each purpose listed below.

We use the information we collect or receive:

·  To send you marketing and promotional communications. We may use the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. You can opt-out of our marketing emails at any time by clicking the opt out link at the bottom of the email.
 

·  Fulfil and manage your orders. We may use your information to fulfil and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through the Services.
                        

·  To deliver services to the user. We may use your information to provide you with the requested service. For example we may share your address with our chosen print provider.

·  To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users. We may use your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you might have with the use of our Services.

 

WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?

In Short:  We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfil business obligations.

  • Consent: We may process your data if you have given us specific consent to use your personal information in a specific purpose. For example processing your print order.

More specifically, we may need to process your data or share your personal information in the following situations:

  • Social media uses. We may share your designs on our social media platforms, any designs that include personal information such as business card designs containing personal information, will not be shared or blurred out to comply with our privacy policy

DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In Short:  We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using my Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
